The Birds and the Bees

Yep, we did it. We had "The Talk", well we had it with the kids a while back but don't you want to know more. How did we share this important information? Are we open, are our kids embarrassed? Of course they are. This episode was one of my favorites because we laughed at the all the moments we had with our kids during this time. If you are almost ready to talk to your kids about SEX then you must listen. And we have a book you have to get!!! But if you have already gone through this pain then listen and laugh as we bring back all the memories of sharing the talk with our kids. In fact, I learned that I now need to send my kids to Kristin's house so they can finally get the real talk because apparently I let my kids tell me about "Plugging In" and thought I was in the clear. I did go back and ask my daughters after this episode if they had more questions and as predicted on the show the youngest said "that is my que to leave" She ran so fast out of the room. While my oldest looked straight at me and said "I have done everything so I don't have questions" jaw dropped I simply said "does your butt hurt". Well that didn't go over well, and while I try to make like I am the "cool" parent and nothing phases me I make insane embarrassing little jokes to shock them. They now have turned the tables and like to shock me back. One point kids, mommy none.
