Misty Grant

I am more than just what my resume says, I am a kick-ass Boss Momma, that doesn't take Shit from anyone. But I do like to have as much fun as I possibly can. I am the Co-Founder and Owner of Nailed It DIY Studios Franchisor (that means I helped create the franchise not bought it). After an extensive career in Executive Training for large corporations, such as Belk and Estee Lauder, and a few restaurants, I chose to take those high-level educational skills and combine them with my creative passion for DIY. As a natural entrepreneur (lots of side hussles), I have carried my expertise from the corporate world into my own business, to create Nailed It®, the ultimate DIY experience. Seeking to empower others with the creativity that comes naturally to some, but not all.

In my time away from the business I enjoy spending time with my husband and two teenage daughters (sometimes). The number one requirement for a mate was he had to dance with me and make me laugh and boy has he succeeded in that. As a family, much of our time is spent at soccer games, competitive ski shows, floating on the lake with friends, or binge-watching something on TV. I also enjoy playing PickleBall and traveling whenever possible, I am always ready for a ROAD TRIP as long as I don't have to drive at night. No matter what the situation or where I find myself, I always make new friends and have a good laugh with those around me! Looking for the positive in any situation is one of my superpowers. But mostly, I just want to have a good time, laugh, and really try to not pee my pants in public (which has happened more times than I want to mention).

Kristin Flowers

Hi, I'm Kristin, a middle-aged mom of 2 teenage daughters and a wife to a hard-working husband. I was raised in Charlotte, NC and went to school in Raleigh at NC State University. After graduating, I came back to Charlotte to be near family. I have worked in the hotel industry for many, many years and then changed careers, switching to the other side of the field to be a corporate meeting planner.

The Flowers family lives in Fort Mill, SC and we love spending all of our time on the lake water skiing, boating, jet skiing and just floating with friends. Life is crazy for our family these days, with both girls in travel sports so many weekends are spent traveling for games, but it is a great opportunity to explore new areas!

When I'm not driving my kids around to live their best lives ever, I enjoy volunteering with various organizations, reading a great book and enjoying a really good cup of coffee in the AM or a good tequila in the PM. I hate cleaning and doing yard work, so if you visit my house, just turn a blind eye to the mess and keep a walkin'!
